Shubman Gill(77) is an Indian cricketer. Representing Indian cricket team at the international level, he also plays for Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League and Punjab in domestic cricket.Shubman Gill was born on 8 September 1999 to a Sikh family in Fazilka, Punjab. His father, Lakhwinder Singh, is an agriculturist and aspired to become a cricketer. Gill showed early promise in cricket, and his father moved the family to Mohali, near the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, so that he could train at a higher level.Shubman Gill showed early promise in cricket. At the age of 14, he scored a double-century on his Under-16 debut for Punjab in the Vijay Merchant Trophy. In 2014, he scored 351 runs in Punjab's Inter-District Under-16 competition and shared a record opening stand of 587 runs with Nirmal Singh.
